We created this mentorship program to give high school students something many us never had: a clear, welcoming introduction to nursing and healthcare. Through virtual sessions, honest conversations, and supportive guidance, we help students discover what healthcare careers look like, what steps they can take, and how to build confidence along the way. Our program is built on the belief that every student deserves access to encouragement, opportunity, and mentors who believe in them. By the end of this mentorship program, students will have:

• A foundational understanding of what nurses and other healthcare professionals do

• Exposure to multiple healthcare pathways

• Beginner-level insight into clinical scenarios and patient care

• Guidance on academic preparation, study strategies and next steps

• Access to curated tools, resources, and support for planning their future

• Increased confidence in their ability to succeed in healthcare

• A supportive mentor they can turn to throughout their journey
